Happy 50th Birthday "The Hurricane Church"
What a wonderful weekend! There is no other way to describe last weekend a our church as we celebrated our 50th anniversary as a congregation.
The weekend started with a picnic at Hurricane City Park with over 100 people in attendance. At that picnic our Leadership presented Paul & Kitty Selan with a plaque & tribute as our only original members from 1956. The Selans our a huge part of our church and we love them very much.
On Sunday Jim Gardner and Jeff Garrett, both former ministers at our church, brought us some of the best lessons I've ever heard. If there was better preaching in the country this past Sunday I want to know where it was.
Thanks to all who made our 50th birthday celebration a huge success.
